Celebrity team captain Liam Hart and mafia heir Nikolai Volkov are bitter rivals on the ice. A brutal collision sends them crashing onto the ice in an intimate position, dragging both of them into a mafia‑debt trap. For the sake of paying off debts, protecting their families and preserving their hockey careers, they are forced to team up. Though they outwardly loathe each other, they share living quarters, train together, heal their wounds and fend off mafia manipulation in private. In the end, the sworn rivals become the only ones willing to skate side‑by‑side toward the finish line for one another.
