Beneath autumn's crimson canopy, childhood lovers Forrest Simons and Jade Sanders were violently severed—all because of the Mad Emperor's falling blade, and a throne harboring dark secrets. Seven winters passed. Forrest rebels grasped by misguided hatred. He hunts the throne unaware—like Philomela, Jade's spirit bears silent witness. Will the nightingale’s requiem be sung before vengeance devours what love once built?
