At Bella‘s engagement ceremony, her fiancé Jasper was nowhere to be found. By the time he finally showed up with his foster sister Luna, the event had already ended—and he offered no apology for abandoning Bella, casually explaining that he’d picked up Luna from her trip abroad. Heartbroken and furious, Bella slapped him and called off the engagement on the spot. Just then, Damian—Jasper’s cousin and the head of a mafia family—appeared unexpectedly. With his men, he took Bella from Jasper’s side and proposed to her mid-flight, thousands of feet above ground. Through a twist of fate, Bella and Damian became legally bound. Her former fiancé was now her “cousin-in-law,” and a fierce struggle within the mafia family began to unfold around this accidental marriage.
