After a hospital mix-up, Shen Ting discovers two devastating truths: she's healthy, but her mother-in-law Chen Ying has terminal cancer; and her husband Lin Yuan is cheating, with his mother's full support. Instead of confronting them, Shen Ting masterfully turns their own greed against them. Using a fake inheritance and a brilliant actress, she orchestrates their downfall, leading them to lose their home, their money, and finally, all hope. In this game of lies, the one who was written off will have the last laugh.
